1. Close Pop-in Newborn
housands of parents have chosen to Pop-in rather than dispose with the UK’s favourite reusable nappy brand.
Many parents wanting to use cloth straight from birth end up using disposables or eco disposables when baby is small or prem, as birth to potty sizing tends to start from 7 lbs or 8 lbs and is often too bulky. This can prove particularly expensive on top of your cloth investment, as you can expect to change your newborn up to 10 times a day in those early days and weeks!
Our reusable newborn nappies help bridge this gap in an affordable way thanks to their clever design. The front section is contoured to fit around baby’s umbilical cord and the nappy itself is much slimmer, intended for the lower wetting, high frequency changing those first few months bring. The waterproof outershell isn’t lined so you can simply switch out the inner and wipe clean and re-use cover if it’s not soiled.

Liquid passes right through suede cloth into the inner absorbent layers of the insert. There are three layers of super absorbent microfiber terry cloth inner and two layers bamboo charcoal outer ,they are antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and more absorbent than regular flannel and dries much faster after being washed.
8. Petit Lulu Cloth Nappy Wrap
Petit Lulu Pull up cover is just like the popular wool pull on covers but this one is made of PUL with fleece cuffs so you have the ease and convenience of washable PUL. No velcro or snaps to fiddle with – just pull it up and go! Our customers have gone a little crazy over these wraps, we’ve gone from just holding a few prints in this “niche” line to a whole storage bay of all the prints in all the sizes, we’ve struggled to keep them in stock many times. Our customers are loving the really gentle leg binding the fleece offers, it’s proving brilliant for sensitive skin.
The fit of the pull on covers is loose, to a degree a bit like the famous Motherease Airflow wrap. Don’t try and make this wrap really snug it’s meant to be a bit loose and a deep cut so it covers the nappy well and leaves a big gap between edge of nappy and edge of wrap, therefore minimising leaks. Petit Lulu say you can just air the wrap and wash weekly however most of our customers wash as regularly as their standard PUL wraps.
9. Bambino Mio, Miosolo All-in-One Reusable Nappy
The MioSolo is an all in one nappy from Bambino Mio. The inside absorbent fabric is supersoft and made of microfibre which is fairly quick drying and offers good and reliable absorbency. On the inside of the pad is a tab to help you easily pull out the absorbent tongue before the soiled nappy goes into the nappy bucket. There is also a little pocket at the end of the nappy tongue to help you easily insert the pad.
The MioSolo is designed to be birth to potty and to fit from 7-35lbs. The length is adjusted by poppers on the front of the nappy and the waist can be adjusted using hook and loop tabs. I do have reservations about this nappy being used on a baby from birth as it’s so long the leg holes can still be too big. I think it’s much better from 12lbs+.
I find this nappy to be quite bulky in comparison to other all in ones like the Bumgenius Freetime however it is a lot longer than other all in ones so if you have a very tall child this could be a good nappy to get you to potty training. The waist fitting is also exceptionally stretchy so it’s also a good choice for very chubby babies. As it is so stretchy i’ve found it can leave ‘sock’ marks on baby but it won’t irritate or cause soreness. This would be a nappy that if you need to top up your nappy system once baby is 6 month+ and you’ve found that they are particularly tall/chubby and you’re struggling to fit them into other all in ones this would be a good choice.
10. Bumgenius Freetime all-in-one diaper
This one-piece, quick-drying nappy aims to make changing time more streamlined, with adjustable absorbency and a stay-dry inner lining. The soft interior cleverly wicks moisture away from delicate skin, helped by an extra later of microfiber sewn into the shell. It’s finished with a leak-proof outer, secured with durable plastic snaps, and fits from around 8lbs to an impressive 35lbs-plus.
